Information for Immunization Providers - header

In North Carolina, the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program is part of the Universal Childhood Vaccine Distribution Program (UCVDP). In North Carolina, all children are eligible for required state-supplied vaccines, regardless of their insurance status.

The UCVDP provides the following vaccines to participating providers across North Carolina: Pediatric DT, DTaP, IPV (Polio), Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Hib, MMR, MMRV, PCV7, Pediarix, Pentacel, Td, Tdap, and Varicella. For special populations, the UCVDP provides Flu, Menactra, PPV23, HPV and Rotavirus. The program provides MMR and Td and Tdap vaccines for adults to local health departments, federally-qualified health centers, rural health centers and hospitals. These same vaccines also are provided to colleges and universities. For more information, please contact the Immunization Branch.
